Master Instructor Kristina Hwang
Master instructor and 7th degree black belt, Kristina Hwang, descends from a line of Korean martial artists. Her father, 9th Degree Grandmaster Jack Hwang, was raised in Korea learning the arts of kendo, karate, tae kwon do, hapkido, jiu-jitsu, judo and numerous others. Grandmaster Hwang is considered one of the founders of tae kwon do in the United States and still teaches today in Oklahoma City. Kristina Hwang is a multi year state and national tae kwon do medalist and a Krav Maga Level 5 certified instructor with over twenty years of teaching experience. She directed martial arts schools, tournaments, self-defense courses, women’s assault prevention seminars, and law enforcement and military hand-to-hand combat seminars.
Krav Maga Level 5 Instructor. Began his training in Krav Maga in California. He has received addition training including advanced gun defense and close quarter combat. He has traveled to Mexico City to teach Krav Maga. He has also worked with local Palm Beach County battered women groups as well as The Benjamin School teaching self defense techniques to High School Seniors.
Assistant Instructor 3rd Degree Certified Black Belt Began her training with Master Hwang in 2000. Samantha grew up learning Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu and has spent several years studying Krav Maga. She leads both children and adult level classes.
Drew Van Fosson
Assistant Instructor 3rd Degree Certified Black Belt Began his training at the age of 7 with Master Hwang in Tae Kwon do and Jiu Jitsu. He is now a tennis instructor, a college student, and leads children and adult level Tae Kwon Do classes.
